- Log in in the UI of the statistics
- Click the clickMap button in the top right area of the interface
- Activate clickMap, using the ”Activate” button
- Download the clickMap script and paste it into the code of your website. Save the s\changes on the server
- The first data should be ready to view in approx. 60 minutes. The consecutive updates will take place every 20 minutes
- Register your statistics account using a registration form.
- After you have logged in, click the clickMap button in the top right area of the interface. Download the clickMap script and paste it into the code of your website. Save the changes on the server.

1. Visualization
The data may be displayed in two ways:
- Hot map
- Click Map
The map of clicks is represented by crosses. The hot map is represented by circles.
For both of the methods of viewing the data, you can adjust the size of a brush used for drawing the map.
2. URL addresses of measured subpages
clickMap interface allows to generate maps of clocks for 1000/100 most frequently clicked subpages, into which the click counting script was pasted. You can select an URL either through a list of addresses or via browser.
3. Time spans
The maps are generated for 7 time periods. This facilitates current tracking of the users’ behaviour while switching between particular pages.

4. Screen Resolution
To check the view of the map of clicks for different widths of the screen, please select one of five options. “Other” option presents all other screen widths than the available 1024, 1280 and 1600.

5. Browser
It is possible to track users’ behaviour of the two currently most popular browsers i.e. Internet Explorer and FireFox. "Other" option displays a map for all other browsers.

6. Lines of Resolution
These are auxiliary lines, which help to identify the structure of a website and the click areas, with respect to the standard resolution screens. The lines allow to determine which area of the page is visible in a browser without the need to scroll it up or down and the clicking intensity in this area. clickMap shows data which reveal how the way the page is displayed affects the clicking rate on its components – both visible and hidden ones.
7. Map transparency
In case of a large number of clicks, the map may cover the content of the page. To see what exactly is placed under the map of clicks, clickMap has been provided with a transparency slider. This widget allows to adjust the transparency of the map.
